The rod building journey is akin to learning a musical instrument, many try but many less stick with it. First you need to master the instrument, this is the equivalent of mastering the "how to" portion. The curve is steep but short, learning to build basic rods is not that difficult. Then you learn to play other peoples music, just like all those cover bands you see, terrific musicians playing other peoples music. Nothing wrong with that, it is fun to play and enjoyable for the folks who are listening. Then comes the small number of people who develop their own style and sound, a little of this and a little of that but they are unique. The same holds true in bamboo, slide out a Payne or a Garrison and you know right away what it is. So whether you are a beginner, a solid builder or a Maestro, always keep learning. That is half the fun. See you in Roscoe.
